ABOUT THE OWNER

Debra Burley trained with the nationally recognized " Joanne, Carol and Debra Queen of Decorating" Joanne Lenart-Weary and her partner, Carol Bass. Joanne is the founder of One Day Decorating and Joanne and Carol are two of the founding members of the Society of Decorating Professionals.

Debra has been certified as a One Day Staging and Decorating Professional, and is a Charter member of the Society of Decorating Professionals Debra Burley-B&W and member of the One Day Decorating Alumni Association. As a Certified Redesigner, Debra works with what the homeowner already has to transform their space. The appeal of the redesign process is the immediate gratification for the homeowner of rediscovering their home’s inner beauty. As an Accredited Staging Professional (ASP™) and Certified Home Stager with five years in the real estate industry, Debra analyzes the pros and cons of the house listed for sale, advises the homeowner of changes that could be made and then if desired, works with the homeowner to make those changes. The goal is to help the house sell as quickly as possible and at the highest possible price.

My husband and I are thrilled with the changes you made in our home. While I was at first hesitant about switching the dining room and den furniture, I could not be more pleased. My husband is a "laid-back" kind of guy who doesn't have much to say about the way the house looks, but he readily agrees that the changes look great. From My Home to Yours ...

I began Re-Creations Home Staging & Redesign because I wanted to make a difference in people's lives. Re-Creations is not just an interior redesign and home staging company. I look at it as an opportunity to make new friends and give back.

It is very difficult for some people to let a perfect stanger into their home to go through their things and see the way they live. I want you to know that I appreciate that you trust me enough to allow me to do that in order to give you the look that you want in your home. Redesign is not just about moving furniture around. It is also about bringing out items you may have long forgotten about and using them in a way that brings you joy.

Equally, when you have your house on the market, it is not easy to hear that some of your prize possessions need to be packed away or a favorite color needs to be replaced because it doesn't appeal to the general public. I also understand this and try to take into consideration that just because your house is on the market you don't want to completely disrupt your entire lifestyle. My changes are usually made to combine your needs with the need for a potential buyer to see the house they are trying to buy.

Redesign and Staging are my passions. I truly believe that everyone deserves to have a beautiful home, no matter its size. I am dedicated to the principles and practices of Redesign and Staging and the many benefits these services will bring to my clients.
